dogs of war

I was watching news report about the early strikes on “targets of military opportunity”. There was nothing else on TV, it was the same thing on all the channels: people talking about war. Anyway, in this one, they showed their camera’s view of the presidential palace in Baghdad. The explosians and anti-aircraft fire had settled down. About the only thing happening was that all the dogs were barking.

Reminded me of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar: “Cry ‘Havoc,’ and let slip the dogs of war.”

Waiting to see how this all turns out.

it gets kind of sickening doesnt it. As though it is entertainment, a hyped up sort of reality that races ever on towards all that is frightful or exciting. No wonder out country is so hectic… its living on a self induced adrenaline rush. madness. anyway that is my blanket statement for the day. love you tua.
