An electrician was at the house Thursday and Friday, cleaning up some of the wiring. Open splices, loose ends, ungrounded outlets, reverse polarity, and a couple screw-in fuses were on the menu. Last night we spent much too long in stores, and not long enough in the house. We succeeded in spending a lot of money, and came home with a full load of door handles. I installed the deadbolt, securing the place from anyone who happened to have an old key.

computer woes

Computer is working again. The power supply decided to not put out power any more. Annoyingly, this is not the first time this has happened. This was a new unit that died, having replaced another dead one only six months ago.

We got the house! We signed the papers and got the key on Friday, just before lunch. Been working on it (pulling up carpet mainly) all weekend.
Computer at home no worky, so more info coming later when I fix it.
