I’ve been Hypermiling instead of blogging

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

This space has been dead for a loooooooong time now. I’ve been busy renovating a house , raising a family and working with the youth at church.
My online time has been at CleanMPG. I’m hypermiling my civic and getting over 60 miles per gallon. Check out the forums and […]

Lilia just got back from her first doctor visit. She’s two weeks old. From her birth measurements of 6lb 9oz and 18 inches, she’s up to 6lb 15oz and 21 inches! Maybe she’ll be like her old man after all! She’s healthy and feisty.

She’s here! Labor was quick, and everything went well. Mom and baby are home now, and none of us are sleeping much.

Thank you, Andrew, for loaning me your spare.

We got the house! We signed the papers and got the key on Friday, just before lunch. Been working on it (pulling up carpet mainly) all weekend.
Computer at home no worky, so more info coming later when I fix it.

feel good

Monday, May 3rd, 2004

As a followup to eliot’s comments (and mine), I say that new socks will make you feel good. It’s something along the lines of ZZ Top’s Sharp Dressed Man. Makes me feel more put-together and under control.

political results

Well, the election came and went. One thing led to another, and I didn’t get a chance to go and vote. Even if I had, Gohmert would have won by about 4,000 votes. When it comes down to it, I guess this one was less important than the first election, since the […]
